The police man

THE POLICEMAN
. By Boyi Genesis

Look at them they hate me cheek
Am far from what is in the letter
My boots have made their faith meek
A friend and enemy but l chose the later
I am so honest integrity slaps my cheek
Am so upright!righteousness calls me hater
I remember i fought with guilt that week I

am mearnt to protect law and order
But like death I command misery and fear
A simple sign of mine is silent murder
Mercy and pardon are words my ears are too big to hear
That which am to uphold i sell to the highest bidder
My ragged sleeves speaks volumes of my care
Slender sorrow and sadness escorts guilt to my doorstep.

This anger i have caused am ready to pacify I have seen that all is indeed vanity
I am myself a product of the oak leave's lullaby
If this chevron dies what is left for his family Systems and seats my grieve magnify!
My wage is weak and my budget lacks unity No more! Taste for more cant make me corrupt

Tell it to the streets i will embrace justice
My dear hear that I say i will restore your fate
From this day my boot shall keeppeace
A friend i shall be and to your calls shan't be late
I shall hearken to clarion call you will notice This elephant that i am is one you will seize to hate!
